DAY 3 - ALLEPPEY

Morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey ( 2 hrs) for Houseboat Cruize in Backwaters surrounded by lush green rice fields. Lunch and dinner in Houseboat. Night in houseboat.

Accommodation: House Boat, Alleppey.

Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast.

DAY 4 - THEKKADY

After Morning Breakfast, around 9 am Check out of house boat and drive to Periyar Tiger Reserve ( 4 hrs+ drive). Reach hotel around 1 pm and have your Lunch. Around 2:30 PM we will go for Green Walk in the Tiger Reserve. Very good chance for Elephants, Gaur, Sambar Deer, Barking Deer,NilgiriLangur, Bonnet Macaque, Wild Boar, Malabar Giant Squirrel etc. and a good no of Endemic and near-endemic species of birds, including Wayanad Laughing Thrush etc.

Evening go for watching Kalaripayattu ( Traditional Martial Art) or Kathakali ( Story Play) a form of classical Indian Dance.

DAY 5 - THEKKADY

Today morning at 7 AM  we will take a Nature Walk in the Tiger Reserve and by noon back to the hotel. Afternoon go for a Green walk or Boat trip ( 1:30 Minutes) in the Periyar Lake.

Other than this Spice Garden Visit and Elephant Ride is possible.

DAY 6 - MUNNAR

Today, morning with packed breakfast drive towards Munnar via Bodi-ghat. Look for Yellow-throated Bulbul, Blue-faced Malkoha, Grey-bellied Cuckoo, Jungle Prinia, White-browed Bulbul, Bay-backed Shrike, Legge’s Hawk Eagle etc and may other common dry habitat birds.

Around 2:30 reach Munnar and afternoon birding around the Hotel area for high altitude endemics like, Nilgiri Flycatcher, Black and Orange  Flycatcher, Nilgiri Wood Pegion, Palani Laughing Thrush, White-bellied Robin, Malabar Barbet etc.

DAY 7 - MUNNAR

Morning visit Eravikulam National Park and by noon back to the Hotel for Lunch and afternoon visit Tea Museum and Local Market.

Very Good chances for NilgiriThar in the  National Park (Critically Endangered Mammal) and some other species of birds like Painted-bush Quail, Malabar Whistling Thrush, Nilgiri Thrush, Indian Blue Robin, Nilgiri Pipit etc.

Accommodation: Olive Brook or Similar, MUNNAR.

Meal Plan : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

DAY 8 - THATTEKKAD

Today morning drive to Thattekkad Bird Sanctuary ( 3 hrs Drive) and afternoon reach camp for lunch and birding nearby the camp area in the evening. 

Accommodation: Hornbill Camp or Simillar,THATTEKKAD.

Mealplan : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. 

DAY 9 - THATTEKKAD- KOCHI AIRPORT DROP

Today, morningbirding around Thattekkad Bird Sanctuary.And afternoon back to the camp and checkout. Drop you to Kochi Airport or Airport Hotel (1hrs+ drive). Tour Ends.
